Job Description

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a key role in protecting and securing our IT systems and sensitive data. You will be responsible for designing and implementing effective security strategies to safeguard the company against internal and external threats. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Incident and Risk Management: Identify and assess IT security risks, taking into account potential threats and existing vulnerabilities

• Security Strategy Design and Implementation: Develop robust IT security policies and incident response protocols to protect company systems and data

• Security Awareness: Deploy awareness programs to educate employees on best security practices and reduce the risk of incidents

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company complies with cybersecurity and data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR and other applicable laws)

• Analysis and Optimization: Create detailed dashboards on operational activities to refine incident response procedures and ensure continuous improvement

• Technology Watch & Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest threats and security technologies (on-premise and cloud) to keep systems secure

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or Cybersecurity

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a cybersecurity role or related field

• Strong knowledge of programming, software development, and scripting (Python, Java, PowerShell, Bash, etc.)

• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CEH, or CISM are highly valued

• Proven ability to propose innovative solutions and share expertise

• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills

• Ability to explain complex security concepts to non-experts

• Strong understanding of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure), security configurations, and best practices
